Just so we remember in the thick of the celebration. This, to me, is what Christmas really is about.
As in, this verse:

"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."
-John 3:16
That kind of love led to an extreme sacrifice. In the same way, that kind of faith leads to eternal life. Experiencing both is surely reason for celebration!
